Destinations

Welcome to our yoga holiday destination page!

We run amazing yoga retreats all over the world, but we do these at different times of the year. Some of our yoga holidays are only on once a year and our events page is done chronologically in date order, so depending on the time of year you won’t see all the places that we visit. This page is especially for you to get a glimpse of the amazing places we do our retreats!

The Cliffs of Moher Retreat is set on 10 acres of its own land. The grounds are just a few fields away from the Cliffs of Moher but facing South towards Liscannor Bay. The views are spectacular and the site boasts the most amazing sunrises. We get sun all day and get the sunsets in the evening. From all over the grounds there are amazing sea-views and you can see the waves breaking out in the bay.

Join us in our beautiful studio and watch the wild waters of the Atlantic Ocean from the comfort of our under-floor heated space. Set in the grounds of our retreat and facing directly out to Liscannor Bay, a massive wall of glass spanning 10m x 3m takes in the most stunning sea-view.

We are a dedicated retreat centre and we provide the space, food and professional warm welcome for you to really let go and enter into retreat mode. Our retreat is warm, comfortable and relaxed and we bring our years of experience in this industry to ensure you can really let go while you are here.

Enjoy a yoga holiday in the stunning Austrian Alps

Join us year round for a yoga retreat in Austria. In winter we run our Yoga & Skiing retreats and in summer we run Yoga & Hiking (or yoga & relaxing retreat if you prefer…). We stay at a fabulous hotel that is run as a social enterprise business, meaning all profits go to charity. It’s a win win!

Here you holiday at the heart of some of the most incredible natural beauty the world has to offer – from the mighty mountains as old as time and the rich flora and fauna, to the quaint Austrian village way of life that moves to the rhythm of nature. It’s about reconnecting, recharging and reenergising your love for life. Our area is the Hochkonig Region.

Yoga in the Austrian Alps

There’s simply a whole winter wonderland of amazingness here – from skiing to snowboarding, tobogganing and snowshoe (hiking in special tennis racquet-style snow shoes). Here everyone will find their happy place – whether it’s out on the breath-taking slopes or finding a cosy dining spot in the picturesque village below. Come summer, the landscape transforms to reveal a myriad of beautiful mountain trails - as the ski lifts take you up high amongst the forests, wild flowers, rolling pastures and crystal lakes, to picnic, rest and just be.

It’s hard to beat the culture, history and artistic splendour of Austria – found in every mountain top castle and ancient village and complemented by the creative vibrancy of the city of Salzburg, home of Mozart.

It’s our hidden gem. Hochkonig is a little-known but highly-regarded ski region. There are plenty of ski rental, ski depots and ski school businesses, and with a bus taking you from door to door, the ski experience is made easy.

Yoga in Mallorca

Our yoga retreat unfolds on the beautiful Balearic island of Mallorca. Home to dazzling beaches, remote mountains and achingly quaint hilltop villages, it’s a paradise worth exploring as you journey into yourself. Your hideaway for the week will be in a traditional Spanish villa called a finca, nestled into gorgeous countryside just 30 minutes from Palma.

Yoga holidays as they are meant to be

Set in its own land, the finca has plenty of areas in which you can relax, rejuvenate and recharge. Say adios to the hustle and bustle of daily life and say hola to hours whiled away in a shaded garden hammock or on a poolside lounger. You’ve plenty of time to be busy back at home. This is your chance to do nothing but spend time with yourself.

The finca is within walking distance to the quaint inland village of Porreres. Wander through traditional markets, take in the paintings of Salvador Dali at the art gallery and join the locals outside for an afternoon aperitif, basking in the shade of historic buildings as Mallorcan life sweeps (or idly meanders) by.

Take a walk up the hill outside the villa to the former hilltop hermitage, Santuari de Montison. With its own simple chapel, it is the place to experience views across the island and out to sea.

Yoga & Hiking on the Camino de Santiago

This walking holiday follows the Portuguese route of the iconic Camino de Santiago, or the “Way of St. James”. The route, which was used by Christian pilgrims during the Middle Ages and by Queen Isabella of Portugal in the 13th century, runs north along the Atlantic coast of Portugal and Spain. Gently winding along ancient tracks and paths, through woodlands, rural villages, farmlands and historic towns, it’s no surprise that the route is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Surf & Turf, the Coastal Camino route

Rather than just panning out on a beach, you want to stay active and to take in some cultural highlights by embracing 1,000 years of history. You want the buzz of becoming a fully qualified pilgrim.

You want to walk every day, soaking up the excitement of new places and nature as you move, falling into bed exhausted but thrilled at the end of the day. It won’t be a piece of cake – you will need a reasonable level of fitness to do the walk – but it will be incredibly rewarding. And we’re sure we can find you some cake, too.

From Oia to Galicia through to Santiago, you’ll explore the sights and delights of both land and sea as you tour this stunning coastal route on foot. Experience the sandy beaches of South Galicia like Praya America and soak up views of the stunning Cíes Islands. Dip into the refreshing waters of the Vigo estuary before heading inland and crossing one of the most cultural and historic areas of Spain, complete with charming villages and medieval towns like Pontevedra and Baiona.

A Yoga Holiday in Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona is a vibrant and exciting city, seeped in culture. It really does have it all…the endless stretches of golden sand and beach-side cafés of La Barceloneta, the colourful markets of tree-lined La Rambla, all overlooked by the lush greenery of Montjuïc hill. Our retreat centre is right in the cobbled heart of the Gothic quarter, giving you instant access to the best shops, restaurants and open squares that make the city so special.

A city retreat - enjoy the best of both worlds

You’ll be staying at a city centre retreat centre – a spacious and fashionable house in the heart of the city. It’s located on a quiet street just minutes’ walk away from the Gothic Quarter and a 10-minute walk to the beach. It’s also right behind the famous La Boqueria Market, an amazing bustling food market that will make all of your senses soar.

Built in 1890, in Gaudi’s modernistic style, most of the house’s magic features have been conserved; its Nolla colourful floors, high and decorated ceilings, iron works on its back facade, internal patios and balconies all remain to be admired. It also boasts Barcelona’s first elevator!

The rooms have been newly renovated and carefully designed by one of the city’s best studios to maintain the original style while giving guests maximum comfort. You can enjoy the private patio garden’s showers and hammocks in your down time and practice yoga in the unique interior shala. Many of our yoga classes will be held on the rooftop terrace so that you can salute the sun while seeing the city from a new perspective.

Let the centre be your oasis of calm in the midst of bustling Barcelona. Accommodation is based on twin room sharing, unless you specifically request a double or single private in advance. We’ll see what we can do for you!
