The Swiss Alps need no introduction as a walkers paradise. The trails here wind round bubbling brooks, steep mountain passes and across ancient glaciers. Green on the lower slopes with snowy peaks year round, the stunning valleys with green forests and multiple waterfalls is truly a wonder to behold. We can help to set you up with a guide or set you off on your own path.

Hiking Tanzania on yoga retreatsFor the adventurous, Mt. Kilimanjaro or Mt. Meru in Tanzania are a great choice and we can help to organise full-packages year-round if you are interested. These mountains have walking trails and are not technical climbs (with ropes and crampons etc) Whether you just want the challenge or if you want to do it for your favourite charity, why not follow a week of safari with a 7 day hike...?

Hiking - Koh Ngai

On Koh Ngai, the whole island is yours to explore. It's a bird watchers paradise and there are coconut plantations and jungle to explore. There are organised guided walks or you can set out on your own.

Hiking on yoga holidays, yoga retreatsThe high-peaked and heavily forested granite mountains to the north and east are serious hiking, camping and mountain biking territory. Some of the forest reserves, including a couple straddling the border with Phatthalung province, reportedly still harbour wild elephants and tigers. A big attraction is the number of waterfalls -- splendid motivation for hiking up any hillside. A classic is Sairung Waterfall, which is accessed via prepared trails. Many others are less accessible and more interesting for seasoned hikers.
