How do I get there?

What’s the weather like?
The weather can range from extremely hot to sometimes wet in summer, to the snow of the ski fields the Alps are famous for.
What do I need to bring?
Hiking boots, suitable clothing for the time of year you are traveling, camera.
How do I arrange activities?
Your host and teacher will arrange everything for you on arrival. If there is something in particular you would like to arrange before you arrive please email us through the contact form.
Will the retreats always run?
We will run a retreat even if only one or two people are booked. We will let you know group numbers to allow you the option to change dates.
I’m traveling alone, does this matter?
It matters not. You can come to get away from everything but there are plenty of opportunities to meet people if you wish. There is an extra charge for single supplement. Contact for details.
I want to stay extra nights, is this possible?
We can help you to arrange extra nights at all our locations.
When can I check in?
You can check into your room anytime after noon.
How many people are there in a group?
We cater for small groups with no more than 10 to 12.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes and if you plan to dive/ski etc you will need to make sure it is covered by your policy.
I’ve never done yoga before, what happens?
Beginners are welcome and coming for a week's practice is a great way to introduce yourself to yoga.
What times are the yoga classes?
Morning and evening.
How long are the yoga classes?
One and a half hours each.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat with me?
We have mats at all our locations but feel free to bring your along.
What style of yoga will I be practicing?
A mixture of Hatha styles, including ashtanga and sivananda. Classes are dynamic in the morning, more meditative in the evenings
