Gozo - Schedule
Arrival and Departure Information
Saturday is an arrival day and the day you check in. Guests arrive at different times throughout the day depending on their inbound flights. The yoga classes start on Sunday morning. There will be an arrival meal on the Saturday evening, but if you are getting in late, food will be left for you in your apartment. The following Saturday is a departure day and the day you check out, there is no yoga on Saturday.
Transfers
You will be met on arrival off your flight on Malta, and transferred by way of chauffeur to the ferry pier. Tickets for your sea-crossing are provided on your return off the island, not on the way there. You will be met by a driver on the other side to take you to the centre on Gozo. As mentioned above, you will be provided with a home-cooked light meal.
If you are travelling alone, there is a €30 extra charge for the transfer. We will do our best to pair you up with someone but if this isn't possible, €30 is to be paid directly to your teacher on arrival.
Yoga and Mediation
Yoga will begin on Sunday morning and there are two yoga classes each day and one meditation session each day. Yoga classes are at 8:00 am for 2 hours and 17:30 for 90 mins. This evening class is followed by a meditation session. With extra long classes, we can warm up slowly and enjoy a lovely extra long savasana at the end!
During your stay there will be a sunset yoga class. This is a a highlight and is usually held at the Azure Window but is weather dependent.
Please note, there is one evening where there is no yoga, a chance for you to get involved in some longer activities, for example diving, kayaking or hiking.
Free Time
During the day there is a selection of activities to get involved in, you can busy yourself if you please with activities such as boat trips, scuba diving and snorkeling, cycling, walking and hiking, and visiting historical sites. Occupy your time in any way you wish, there are stunning walks and sea views to take in. There is a huge range of UNESCO world heritage historical sites to explore, with markets, fishing villages and beautiful swimming beaches. Taking a boat to the Blue Lagoon in Comino is a trip not to be missed. It is in this scenic spot that many famous movies have been filmed and a boat trip there includes snorkelling, swimming and plenty of photos opportunities!
