Morocco - Accomodation

You will be staying in a French-run Riad, right in the old part of the Medina. Riad Asmitou, run by the charismatic Delphine and her Moroccan husband Radwan, is full of character and charm. Each room is decorated differently and there are 3 outdoor terraces to relax, eat breakfast and sunbath on.

Staying in a Riad is one of the great charms of travel in Morocco. With a small number of rooms, you will feel more like a guest in a grand home than staying in a hotel. Downstairs there is a large lounge, a TV room and a dining room and there is free Wifi for your use.

All the rooms are on-suite and cleaned daily by the friendly staff: Fatimzela, Lutvia and Joseph. Breakfast is served daily on the terrace (weather permitting) and one of the highlights of the week is sitting under the sun, enjoying a well deserved breakfast of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly baked Moroccan galettes and freshly brewed coffee and teas. Breakfasts can last hours some days!

Yoga is held each morning and evening in the large lounge, with smaller groups one of the upstairs rooms are used. The Riad will become your home from home while you are away and guests can bring their books down to the fire to read in the evening and enjoy all the living spaces as their own.

With the sights and sounds of Essaouira right outside your window, and the sound of seagulls in the morning, it's a beautiful place to wake up, take a breath of fresh ocean air and allow the sunshine to stream in your window.
