Lots to do...

Around Essaouira you can ride horses down the beach, go on a camel trek, try out the world class surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing or hang out in a local coffee house with the locals.

In Essaouira there is so much to do. Take a walk around the town and get to know the myriad of streets, lanes and alleys. Bargain for leather goods or watch the belly-dancers. Enjoy a traditional Hammam (steam bath) or eat freshly caught seafood right off the boats.

Or perhaps you want to hang out on one of the terraces on a sunlounger reading a book and getting a tan. Treat yourself to one of the amazing Spas and indulge in a massage before sunset.

Surfing, wind surfing and kite-surfing:
With a long Altantic Coast and many long point breaks Morocco is a famous destination among surfers. With a consistent swell and off-shore winds for most of the year it’s no wonder why. There is break for everyone, whether you are a pro or a beginner.

Horse, Quad and Camel riding:
You can take a camel trip right on the beach or further into the desert. There are horses you can go out on too in the area, either for a relaxed ride or a gallop down the beach!

Shopping

Essaouira is a shoppers mecca with market stalls lining the medina. Leather is produced locally and hand crafted. There is also beautiful jewellry and you can find just about anything if you look. Argan oil is a local speciality and no trip to Morocco would be complete without returning with your own Tagine! Bargaining is part of the experience and you'll find the Moroccans to be corteous and fluent in many languages!

Hammam and Spa

No trip to Morocco is complete without a good old scrub down at a Hammam. Much like a Turkish bath, they range from cheap and authentic to luxurious and decadent. There are many beautiful and affordable Spas in town, and prices are apx 30% of what they would be at home for hours of pure heaven!
