- What kind of yoga will I be practicing?
A mixture of Hatha styles, including ashtanga and sivananda. Classes are dynamic in the morning, more meditative in the evenings.
- Do I need to bring a yoga mat with me?
We have mats at all our locations but feel free to bring your along.
- How long are the yoga lessons?
One and a half hours each.
- What time are the yoga lessons?
Morning and evening.
- Do I need travel insurance?
Yes and if you plan to dive/ski etc you will need to make sure it is covered by your policy.
- I've never done yoga before?
Beginners are welcome and coming for a week's practice is a great way to introduce yourself to yoga.
- What are the benefits of yoga practice?
Yoga has countless benefits, more than could be discussed in a quick conversation. It allows the body to work with itself in harmony. Focus is on breathing, stretching and relaxation, while toning and increasing flexibility of the muscles. You will be able to take home and utilise new skills and techniques beyond the classroom and feel the benefits throughout the mind and body in everyday life.
- What do I need to bring?
Once you book you will receive information regarding climate, local customs and inoculations etc.
- How many in a group?
We cater for small groups with no more than 10 to 12.
- What if I am travelling alone?
It matters not. You can come to get away from everything but there are plenty of opportunities to meet people if you wish. There is an extra charge for single supplement. Contact for details.
Thailand Yoga FAQ's
- What is the weather like? The dry season is November to April when the weather is dry and sunny. The rainy season is between May and October. The heavier monsoon weather is only for a short period of time however, and for most of the rainy season there are short bursts of showers and the sun comes out again. It is warm all year round and never gets cold. It's a good idea to bring a raincoat with you however, even in the dry season, isolated showers are not unheard of.
- What do I need to bring? The weather is warm all year round but it's worth bringing a warmer top with you for when in air-conditioning. You can purchase cosmetics on the island and there is a very well stocked pharmacy on the island too.

- What if I arrive early?

- Can I stay on longer? You can indeed, we can help you to arrange extra nights at all our locations.
- What currency do they use: The local currency is Thai Baht.
As Koh Ngai is a very small island, there are no ATMs or banks on the island. Most major credit cards are accepted at the resort, but please be ready to change money or withdraw whatever currency you'll need for your vacation from ATMs at the airport or elsewhere on the mainland.
- What language do they speak: The official language is Thai but English is widely spoken, especially in the tourist areas.
- Can I book activities when I get there? Yes you can, you can decide what you want to do when you arrive.
- Do you get many people travelling alone to Thailand? Most of our guests travel to Thailand on their own.
Malta Yoga FAQ's
- What is the weather like? The summer is hot and sunny with no rain, and the evenings are warm. This warm weather can continue right up until Christmas though evenings tend to be cooler and it's wise to bring some warmer clothes if coming in Autumn. Rain, although not common, is also possible so a rain coat is a good idea.
- What do I need to bring? You can buy everything you need on the island is case you forget anything. There are plenty of Pharmacy's and supermarkets. We have a supply of yoga mats, but if you are comfortable with your own, please bring it along.

- What if I arrive early?

- Can I book activities such as diving and kayaking when I get there? Yes you can, you can decide what you want to do when you arrive.
- Do you get many people travelling alone to Malta? Most of our guests travel to Malta on their own.
- What if my flight arrives late at night: Our Malta package includes transfers to your accommodation. You will be met off the flight, no matter what time you arrive. It is worth noting that the ferries run less frequently at night and there might be a wait at the ferry pier if this is the case.
- What currency do they use: InJanuary 2008 the local currency will be Euros
- What language do they speak: The official language is Maltese but English is widely spoken and many Maltese communicate among themselves in English, which is the offical second language.
Switzerland Yoga FAQ's
- What is the weather like? Though up in the snow, the weather can be very hot and sunny. You will need to be prepared for cold weather but a lighter top or t-shirt is a good idea.
- What do I need to bring? You can buy everything you need there, sun-cream is essential. Bring your ski-wear but you can rent ski's/boards/boots/helmuts/protective gear there. We have a supply of yoga mats, but if you are comfortable with your own, please bring it along.

- What if I arrive early?

- Can I stay on longer? You can indeed, we can help you to arrange extra nights at all our locations.
- Do you get many people travelling alone to Switzerland? Most of our guests travel to Malta on their own.
- What currency do they use: The local currency is Swiss Francs.
- What language do they speak: The official language is Swiss German but English is widely spoken as well as French and Italian.
- When can I start skiing: You will be issued with your ski-pass on the morning after you arrive, you can head up the mountain after the first yoga class, on the Sunday morning.
- Can I take ski/snowboard lessons?: You can, your host will recommmend the local ski schools and you can choose between group lessons at any level or private lessons.
